I do not play them Any more. As I dropped and broke the larger one after a lesson, I was Afraid to tell my mother, and so I hid it for ten years in my closet. However, my mother thought that I preferred my painting lessons To playing the violin, and NEVER suspected that my beautiful violin Was being hidden from her in my very messy walk in closet. Not for Many years thereafter did I tell her WHY I wanted to paint instead Of studying violin with George Steiner and Louis Cheslock. To be Quite honestly - I was a terrible violinist - and I think my mother was Happy not to hear me practice anymore!
